Day #12: Take A Break
Take a break.
Don’t overwork yourself. Workout 4-6 times a week. Then take a break for 1-2 days to let your muscles rest and rebuild. Don’t think you have to overdo it and workout nonstop every day. You will burn out and may end up giving up and quitting. So, stay motivated and workout hard for 4-6 days in a row and then reward yourself! Take some time off and do something fun on your days off! Don’t let yourself take too many days off though. Keep to a set routine.
Choose your days on or off wisely.
For me, its easier to workout at least one day on the weekend, usually Sunday. Its more difficult to get to the gym on Saturday, so that is usually my off day. I usually take another day off during the week when work or my home life gets too busy. I don’t tend to set the day off during the week, but Saturday is always set as an off day unless I’m just dying to get into the gym.
