20 Days, 20 Tips, Farewell 20’s: #3

Day #3: Play Hard, Rest Hard.

Every girl needs her beauty rest. Anyone that knows me knows, I love sleep! There’s nothing like snuggling up in a plush bed after a hard day at work, working out and getting to cuddle a posh puppy! Make sure you get enough sleep. Don’t neglect yourself. If your body is tired, let it rest. Work your schedule out to give yourself time to rest. If you need to go to bed earlier, make it happen. On days that you don’t have to get up, say on the weekend or your day off, don’t set an alarm. Let yourself naturally wake up. Some may not agree with this, but I think sometimes its good to just let your body rest and get up when it’s ready. If you have kids, this is probably more difficult, but still important nonetheless. So like I said, make it happen!

If you are having trouble sleeping, try working out really hard right before bed. Get all your nervous energy out and then take a hot shower. Relax, read and sweet dreams!

Your body and skin will thank you!
